Some churches have a boom in attendance and hit a numerical growth ceiling. Growth ceilings are corporate and individual, and they are multidimensional. There is a rise in Christians hearing a call to be active in a new and huge way; but they are hitting the old paradigm. In the old paradigm, a member plugs into existing ministries or a new church ministry is started. There are models for churches, growing in attendance, that struggle with numerical growth ceilings (e.g.multiple services, multiple locations, multiple leaders, etc.) However, there is no visible model for addressing the finite number of on-going ministries a church can juggle - or even train/coach members for a ministry 'start-up.'
